Responsibilities of the BT/RBT
  • Work 1:1 with individuals aged 2-21 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community-based settings.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBA Clinical Supervisors.
  • Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
  • Provide daily progress notes on treatment goals.
  • Training families on implementing treatment plans.
  • Participate in team meetings and 1:1 Supervision meetings
  • Communicates effectively with staff and supervisor
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism including appropriate clothing, timeliness, and communication.

Qualifications of the BT/RBT

  • Holds a High School diploma; Bachelor Degree is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working with children with autism or other developmental
    disabilities
  • Experience working with children with behavior problems preferred
  • Experience working in an in-home setting preferred
  • Must love working with children, energetic, highly motivated, creative, and work well as a team.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, valid car insurance, and have personal reliable transportation
  • Availability to work at least 3-5 afternoons / evenings per week (3:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m.), 5 evenings preferred.
  • Must be willing to work weekend hours for make-up sessions as needed
  • Must be willing to sit on the floor with children
  • CPR certification and/or willing to obtain certification
  • Ability to provide a negative TB test results
  • Pass a background check
  • Existing certification or commitment to pursue a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)certification through the BACB. This training will be provided with an expectation of completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities of a QMHP-A

  • Work 1:1 with adults with a mental heath illness.
  • Provides direct support, coaching, and advice to clients and/or families, in their home and/or community setting
  • Implement and monitor what has been written in the client’s ISP
  • Teaching and training in ADL skills to address Mental Health Skills Building
  • Provide daily progress notes that describe therapeutic interventions and progress towards ISP
  • Coordinate arrangements for the recipient to access, and receive benefits and services within the community as well as monitor the provision of those services.

Qualifications of a QMHP-A

  • Experience in providing psychiatric or mental health services to individuals who have a mental illness
  • Must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human service or related field (i.e.: social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, rehabilitation, human services counseling, etc.) from an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge of counseling skills and techniques
  • Knowledge of mental health diagnosis
  • CPR certification and/or willing to obtain certification
  • Pass a criminal background check
